Inkstone is an all-in-one desktop application for academic plagiarism checking and rewriting, providing graduating students, researchers, and academic writers with end-to-end writing support from first-draft detection to final submission. Key Features Local Plagiarism Check: The checking engine runs entirely on the user's device; documents and corpus data never leave the local machine. Supports self-checking within a document, comparison against a local corpus, and comparison against selected corpus collections; Triple-Standard Comparison: Following the detection rules of CNKI, Weipu (VIP), and Wanfang, the three leading Chinese plagiarism detection systems, a single check simultaneously reports similarity rates under all three standards, with segment-level highlighting, suspected source lists, and exportable PDF reports; Reference Library: Import PDF, DOCX, and TXT files as well as exports from Zotero and EndNote; search open academic databases including OpenAlex, Crossref, and arXiv; reference sections are automatically identified and excluded, with term whitelist support; AI Rewriting: Three intensity levels (conservative, moderate, strong) with multi-round "rewrite–recheck" iteration and per-round similarity tracking; an incremental recheck runs automatically once a rewrite is adopted; Writing Assistance: Academic polishing, grammar correction, outline generation, and abstract generation, with rewrite results presented in a side-by-side original-vs-revised diff view; Report Import: Import PDF / DOCX plagiarism reports from CNKI, Wanfang, and other platforms, with report markers automatically aligned to the corresponding positions in your document; Version History: Snapshots are created automatically at key operations, with version diff comparison and one-click rollback.
